  • Revival of Dhamma-Vinaya

    The dhamma is essentially the 37 qualities of an Awakened mind. Vinay is the specific ode of comportment which aids in cultivation and development of those very qualities. Such holistic training allowed for the clear and unbiased perception of Truth which is free from religious or scientific prejudice and yet paradoxically, their final essence. Such revival depends on the reinstating of Commune or Sangha of High minded individuals capable of training to overcome states like lust and anger which restrict the organism from pursuit of biological and psychological Evolution.

  • Institute of Monastic Studies

    In as far as our education allows us to learn a skill which helps us in gaining a livelihood, it is partial and aims merely at biological sustenance. It is not far fetching to say that we live in an uneducated world. A true education would make an individual capable of living in harmony with Nature, society and even more importantly with his thoughts, feelings and emotions. For such development, formal graduate and post graduate program’s needs to be introduced where students can embody the art of living. This education can help

  • Research in Applied Phenomenology

    The ethos of our age is scientific enquiry. It has evolved to become the very language of modern thought. While the roots of scientific enquiry may appear to trace its origin in Descartes’s cogito or more radically in Husserl’s phenomenology, a more fundamental foundation of such enquiry was laid down by the historical Buddha to overcome superstitious modes of thought and ground intelligibility in a reality beyond blind belief. We hope to revive the science based on radical empiricism as Applied phenomenology to help scientific progress in the challenging areas of cognition and Existence.
